It is a byproduct of their beliefs having no real basis in reality. As they cannot find anything substantial in the real world to support what they say they must throw out basic thought in favor of "Doesn't it just make sense if X is true?" regardless of what X actually is. --- "A shouted order to do something of dubious morality with an unpredictable outcome? Because they are addicted to rage and fear. They like feeling like they are under seige. That's why they eat up conspiracy theories, q anon, fox news, Faceboom memes, and rumble vids. They have the option of believing they're the protagonist of the universe and they deserve everything good in their life and that everything bad in their life is because of some enemy.
