I'm in my early 30s and even I have some lingering pain from some minor injuries. He must be aching everywhere from doing all of his own stunts and getting injured so many different ways

Wow that looks like trash, but I can't believe Jackie Chan's almost 70. He looks like he's 50

But a lot of the effects of aging can be delayed through good medical care, good diet, exercise, and a bit of luck.

Wealth doesn't save you from the damage that taking knocks constantly does to your body.

Look at elite sportspeople. They are rich and receive top notch medical care. By the time they hit their 40s (if not before), their joints are fucked.

  1. No, not really
  2. This is aging + a career of getting the shit kicked out of him.
There isn't a lot the doctors can do despite his bank account

I don't get that, can't stem cell therapy fix all that sort of thing? According to Mel Gibson, it can

He must have some kind of indestructible body. All of those stunts and injuries and he's still walking around fine.

Uhhh.... Most of our [athletes] make less than $50,000 a year, and for many, much less than that. Theyre doing it for the love of sport, thats for sure.

If you're earning that money ($50,000)... you can't exactly afford all the top notch, anything....

Seems we should be worrying about his mind. There's several scenes where he's talking to himself.

Not relevant to the point I'm making.

Those elite sportspeople who do receive top notch care still have issues with their joints because of the knocks and the constant wear and tear.

Hes not big on drugs and alcohol so that may have helped with aging. Being in good shape and whatnot. But yeah all his injuries Im sure hes dealing with some pain. Probably takes ice bathes and gets cortisone shots.

Probably some pain definitely. I slipped and fell the other day (I'm 34) it hurt bad for like a day and was just discomfort after but last night I snatched up a trash bag with 3 gallons roughly of home made alcohol at work. My back feels worse than it did the first day.

Aging sucks. Five weeks ago I pulled something in
my right arm while removing a particularly heavy trash bag from a can, and it still hurts.
