I work alone most of the day so there isn't anyone who would even check most of the time

While my facility claims to be strictly anti cell phone, there's only like 2 managers in the building who will cause you a problem over it unless you're excessive. Those two are the tryhards who are on your ass about everything and you try to avoid them anyway.

So long as you're quick about it, and your work numbers are good, most don't really care. I can run small operations during my workflow.

Technically no, but de facto yes. I spend most of my time at work alone, so there's no one there to tell me I can't. There's only one manager who would even care, and I haven't seen him in over a week. I'm pretty sure he has better things to do than go through hours of security footage just to catch someone using their phone.

Technically only for music and podcasts and the like. New management hasn't made a big deal about having them out but at the same time, I work in a busy lab with not a lot of downtime/opportunity to use them regularly so it's never actually been a big issue for us.

One job, don't care as long as I'm answering calls and checking emails.

There's a decent amount of staring at screens while programs run, so no one cares if you have your phone out while that's happening.

Technically no, but it pretty no one gives you shit unless it's like obnoxiously blatant, which I've never seen beyond like "Hey, be less obvious." I know I never told any of my guys to get off their phone, and usually encouraged them to set up bluetooth and shit and share music. Plant has garbage reception anyhow. If you knew you had a call that was needed I just asked for a heads up and would have you covered.
