I think this is a good deal. It's refurbished so it's not without its flaws, but the lowest I could find a similar build at was twice the price.

This thing is pretty basic but for that price it's a pretty decent buy.

The problem is that its from Newegg, and I would not buy from them. There are plenty of tech creators who have covered them, including Linus. But long story short, they have been trying to pass off refurbished or even simply returned products as new and then blaming the customers for the issues when they are inevitably returned (again).

This probably would not actually effect this actual build since it's like pretty low end but they have also just been shipping things that are marked refurbished but don't actually work apparently.

It has been around a year since this news broke, and I have not heard any real news since then though. But I would not buy simply out of principle.

Dang. I have never had problems with newegg before, but it's been years since I had to buy a new rig. I just wanted something that would play Diablo 4 smoothly at decent settings. Hopefully I don't have any issues.

The parts individually would cost more I think, so it's a pretty good deal. I used to use Newegg a lot without issues, so that's sad to hear. In general, I've had good luck with refurbished laptops and such, so I wouldn't worry about that aspect too much.
