That one makes sense. You could argue that different claims are valid or unreasonable.
The prosecution just throws everything at the wall and then each claim is argued in court.

The ideal scenario in my books is that Trump is still able to run, but the GOP chooses DeSantis as their candidate, so Trump runs as an independent because he's a butthurt manchild that wouldn't tolerate being snubbed like that. DeSantis takes the votes from everyone that blindly checks whichever box says "R" and the people that have started favouring him over Trump, Trump takes all the votes from his devotees and the anti-establishment types, and the Democrats get an easy win because minority governments aren't a thing in America. The biggest risk there is that democrat voters overestimate just how easy the win will be and don't turn out in sufficient numbers to take it.

Enough of Florida likes DeSantis to keep voting him in, and Florida Man is not actually restricted to Florida. A lot of his identity politics - Especially around LGTBQ+ issues - are shared by many other Republican voters around the country, who like the idea of him making it illegal nation-wide to let trans people exist.

Trump is still leading the polls, but there's an ever growing chance he could be behind bars by the time of the election, and Biden already smoked him.

To say DeSantis got off to a tepid start would be a gross understatement, but he's still the #2 choice in the GQP. His hyper partisan and authoritarian policies are only going to appeal to conservatives though, and that shit won't fly in a national election. It doesn't help that most of his policies have blown up in his face, or are being blocked by judges anyways. The Trump MAGA crowd hates him.

Pence is third currently, and...lol. MAGA crowd also hates him.

A legit from-left field dark horse like Bergam or something could end up with the nomination, but it will be a clown show.

Back on the topic at hand, this is extremely bad for Trump. The indictment is airtight, and carry heavy charges.

No, see, if he was given zero attention back then, it wouldn't even be a political discussion beyond "Hey, remember when that rich asshole tried to run for office and lost?" He wouldn't have even had a cult following as he does now, since that 30-ish percent of Americans wouldn't have a crowning liquid turd to identify with. Ok, my reading comprehension is not the best, so I re-read it three times.

I'm not his supporters, it doesn't matter how much I pay attention to him. They can live in their own isolated bubble. As a matter of fact, that's exactly how they do it 99% of the time.

Let him serve his time in obscurity. The Cult of 45 will kick and scream until they either fall apart altogether or find a new figurehead.

If we were talking about his policies as a sitting President, that would be true. Again, this is about now, well after the time period, with judicial consequences hanging over his head, and the fact that he is a narcissist who requires everyone's praise and attention at all times. We do not need to pay attention to him. We need only let justice be served, and let him fall so far from the spot5light that no one would care except, again, those cultists who will fall apart or replace him. Those cultists will do either if the attention goes on, but starving the narcissism is truly the best way to go.
