There's the concern of wanting a good Nah, but also, well, the fact that it's Nowi.

I had her with Gaius since I feel like he has nuanced opinions on the age of consent

Donnel gives her Galeforce and has around the same mentality.

I think I paired her with Lon Qu just by chance. I avoid doing romance usually tbh.

I'll preface by saying broadly tear it depends on what you are doing? Just casually playing the game, freely grinding? Trying to beat Apotheosis? Lunatic+?

But I side toward Vaike, Gaius and Donnel. Primarily Vaike unless I just NEED Galeforce. But given that I'm typically doing limited-to-no grind runs, Galeforce matters little to me. Besides Galeforce, Vaike gives her a ton of toys like Luna, Sol, Armsthrift and movement+1. On top of a lot of speed and strength.

Ricken. Was it optimal? Probably not but it was the least creepy.

Huh. That's definitely an option, but I know very little about said character. Most of my experience comes from FEH.

I did miss your post, mostly because I had to scroll up and back down and up and back down lol.

But I'll definitely take that into consideration. He's annoying af though in FEH. Pothead wearing weirdo.

lol that's part of his charm. Well if you find him annoying he might be hard for you to use since he's a Magikarp type character and needs to be Second Sealed as soon as possible. He starts steamrolling after that though.

I guess, but back when I played it, I was on Casual mode, didnt really need to bother with OP units.

It doesn't make a huge deal then. Galeforce is a super strong ability, but the idea that every single unit needs it is silly. Vaike makes Nah into an absurdly hard hitter and gives her access to basically every non-galeforce tool an offensive unit could want. That being said he can be a reasonably contested Dad, so other kids might want him more. Donnel does gives similar tools, plus Galeforce, but less great stats and his Galeforce access makes him super contested as well.

There is also Kellam. Which doubles down on defense. She'll easily be your tankiest unit though it's at the expense of offense. It's also generally overkill and the gutted speed can ended up causing her to take more damage in doubles than a faster Nah would, even if has less defense. But Kellam is super-uncontested as a Dad.

I did pair her with Donnel in my second playthrough.

First playthrough I paired him with Maribelle only because the idea of prim and proper noble lady hooking up with low-class redneck amused me.

I married Maribelle with my avatar on my first playthrough because I found her annoying and I wanted to see if she had anything interesting. I think she leveled up supports fastest with Robin too because I constantly had her hide inside Robin. My first playthrough was super scuffed lol, didn't get every child, didn't use second seals so my Donnel went to level 30 as a useless Villager, and I stopped at the final map whereas every run after that I did the DLC (barring Apotheosis) after.

It has to be the priest guy for obvious reasons

I forget who I paired nowi with. I think it was that dark mage kid, I played this game fucking years ago when I was still in school

Edit: Henry is the one I paired her with. It didn't seem right to me to put her with Ricken since 1000 years old blahblahblah although in the end it came down to having a gaggle of unpaired units. I made MC go with the red head merchant.
