I worked at a high security building once (nothing super fancy) and my training class all agreed that the restroom bad a funky smell.

It wasn't like someone crapped or pissed the place. It was a unique smell.

The restroom was clean. Or at least, clean appearance wise, but that smell persisted.

It smelled fishy.

And finally someone, after a few days of us smelling this weird smell in the restroom, pinpointed what we all thought it smelled like.

"Eh guey el pinche bano huele a ceviche!"

Lmao!!!!!! It was true. Why the fuck would a restroom smell like ceviche? For days?

Looks tasty AF. Chop it up a little more tho. It's better with smaller chunks so that all the flavors really blend in each bite, as opposed to one big chunk of something overtaking the bite.

You cure ceviche in lemon/lime, so it would stand to reason that lemon/lime scented cleaner was used. But improperly in some way (probably not cleaned off entirely + too much was used).

And the ceviche looks all right. Too little fish versus everything else.

Yeah meant that I've never seen it with either rice or tortillas, since I'm guessing the latter is what the fish is on top of

Looks yummy! Id have done a couple things differently, but I definitely wouldnt complain while eating this!

Looks very good but maybe not chopped up enough? Are the darker green things pickled jalapeos or something? Pickled jalapeos seem like a good idea tbh.

Nothing against pickled jalapenos in general but ceviche is all about freshness

Fresh jalapenos sound like an amazing idea tho

I usually include red pepper for some sweetness
