there was no "before time". time is a man made concept to explain the change of state of things. time isnt a thing that actually exists. theres no such thing as the past or the future

I think that the reason we can't conceive of the idea of "things have always been here" is because WE have not "always been here", and since humans have a beginning and end, so must the universe.

things have not always been there. like the moon, it has existed for a certain amount of time.
