Months after several players refused to wear LGBTQ Pride jerseys during pre-game warmups, the National Hockey League announced a ban on wearing specialty jerseys on the icethe latest sports-related controversy this Pride montheffectively banning jerseys for Pride and other causes like cancer awareness and Black history.

The NHL has banned clubs from wearing Pride warmup jerseys, league commissioner Gary Bettman acknowledged in an interview with Sportsnet.

The leagues action comes after about a dozen NHL players this past season refused to wear team-requested warmup jerseys that featured the team logo in a Pride rainbow.
Some teams sat their non-complying player for the warmups, while other teams disallowed anyone on the team from wearing them due to a small minority of players.
Either way, the refusals often overshadowed the intended inclusive meaning of the gesture.
Its become a distraction, Bettman said. And hes not wrong. And taking away from the fact that all of our clubs host nights in honor of various groups or causes, and wed rather they continue to get the appropriate attention they deserve and not be a distraction.

Why would you ban all players from wearing these Jerseys instead of allowing players the option of wearing them or not?

It's just a very convenient diet that lets wealthy influences feel good about steak and eggs constantly. But yeah. He doesn't look super motivated in general.

Those kind of restrictive diets suck. If you go on a diet that you don't plan to be on for the rest of your life, the weight will not magically stay off. Eating only meat is an arbitrary restriction that doesn't ensure you are getting proper amounts of macronutrients, and it makes getting the right amount of micronutrients pretty much impossible. Most people are going to feel like shit on that diet and aren't going to want to exercise, the other part of the formula for successful weight loss.
