I find it really weird when people ship Luffy and Nami. They are like Harry Potter and Hermoine to me... they come across like siblings and best friends, not a couple.

The only big ships I like are Robin and Law, and I kinda like the idea of a Zoro and Perona would be cute together.

Never watched beyond the first season but I'd ship Nami and Robin

But seriously, it seems like Luffys the kind of guy wholl sire kids all over the place. He doesnt really worry about consequences or long-term relationships outside of his crew, so if he ever developed any kind of taste for women I could see him travelling from port to port getting with Hancock, Vivi, Yamato, Shirahoshi, etc, and then sailing off without a second thought.

almost all the characters do. they're in love with adventure

Even though I know it wasn't Oda's intention Luffy will always be asexual in my mind.

The signs are all there for Luffy and Nami to get together in the end (assuming Luffy doesn't go and die from all those body-harming techniques and procedures he's endures all these years)

Though I thought there was almost chemistry between him and Margerite from Amazon Island

The only time Nami x Luffy made any sense was during Arlong Park, and even then it was a stretch to think of it as romantic

Luffy is not getting together with anybody - he only cares about being King of the Pirates and having a crew

Honestly none of the Strawhats really have romantic connections in the crew. Sanji is played for laughs but that's it. Zero has the marine girl, and the closest Luffy might have is Vivi. But Luffy seems to get a new starstruck waifu on every island

Still though, rest of them don't give a damn about the romance life. All about the adventure, meat, booze, money, cooking, exploring ruins, doctoring, not being a wuss, sailing, just enjoying the company, friendly relationships across different races and whatnot.

Ships I consider semi-likely to happen.

Zoro x Tashigi or Perona
Sanji x Pudding
Usopp x Kaya

Crack Ships that definitely won't happen, but that I would like to see.
Robin x Koala
Luffy x Carrot / Vivi / Shirahoshi

Probably Jinbei.
Probably Robin
Nami will probably collect boyfriend's paychecks but nothing serious.
Probably Frankie if he doesn't go for the twins in his old crew.

Always had a feeling that Robin and Frankie would end up as a couple.
