Im a pretty damn far left liberal and I agree with absolutely everything theyre saying, but my God so many Netflix specials are more like political rallies than comedy specials.

Wanda Sykes is a hilarious comedian but with her new special I was like YES WE ALL AGREE TRUMP BAD CLAP CLAP CLAP WOOOOOOO.

I was actually looking forward to that Stand Out special since it was LGBT comedians for an LGBT crowd but there were like barely any laughing moments, it was more like the Democratic National Convention.

Im not gonna say keep politics out of comedy, Hell fucking no, politics belong in comedy probably more than anything, but for the love of God it should be funny and only funny.

Trump kept nuclear missile information next to the toilet. You cannot write comedy better than that. The material is already written and the comedians have just become the reporters.

Comedy only exists to "mask" punching down, or punching up by attacking their corporate overlords, both of which the modern left want left alone.
So it's obvious that the modern left wouldn't want it to exist.
They will destroy it by making all comedy as unfunny as possible and by pushing these "comedy" specials everywhere.

No, im telling the truth. I donated to Bernie Sanders campaign and went to his rallies. I started with that so people wouldnt think I only had this complaint because I disagreed politically, I fully agree politically.
