You get a plastic case to put on your shelf. I do feel like retail discs are of limited value for current-gen games, seeing as you'll only be preserving the unpatched release from the eventual destruction of your account and console storage. Haven't resold a game in ages.

https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/xbone

Xbone is a derogatory way to address Microsoft's Xbox One console after many fans were heavily disappointed after hearing the news that it requires you to connect to the Internet once every 24 hours in order to play games. Kinect is required for it to work. You have to pay a fee to play used games. Games have to be installed in order to play and it has a hard drive that holds a mere 500 GB. It was officially announced in a live stream on May 21st, 2013.

Xboner

1. An Xbox One player.
2. A Microsoft fanboy

A Crying little bitch on the inter webs, who has not the slightest clue on anything relevant to a given conversation. Also if given the opportunity to **** the **** of anyone who says the word Microsoft of Xbox they would fall to their knees with mouths wide open.

The fact that they gave the wrong info arguably makes it an even better Xboner.

Edit: apparently they did exactly the same thing with Redfall lol.

Well, there we go, I hope this makes some folks happy!

On a related note though, whatever you want to say about console physical releases, I'm flabbergasted that PC physical releases are still a thing at all, extremely limited or not. Haven't had a machine that even included a disc drive for at least 15 years. It does make me a bit nostalgic for the days where PC physical releases were comically huge boxes that folded outward with artwork, screenshots and the like. They would basically bake an entire marketing campaign into those things so you knew exactly what you were getting when you picked it up at the store. Pretty sure I still have my original Half-Life boxes tucked away in storage.

PC physical releases are almost all codes in a box, not discs, AFAIK.

But also a fair amount of collectors don't even open the box, so it doesn't really matter what's inside...

Even if Digital games were $5 more at launch I would still pay the extra to not have to swap out discs. Being able to instantly boot up every single game I own whenever I want is an ENORMOUS benefit. I can also take my console anywhere and have my entire library with me.

I'm the reverse. I will happily pay more money to have the physical copy.

Some games I even own 2 physical copies of so I can play with my wife even though I could have just gone digital for the second copy.
