When one of my all time cats had to be put down I had my wife go because I said I couldn't do it. I've regretted it ever since, for both the cat and my wife. Since then I've had someone come to my house to put down my most snuggly and lovable cat. It cost a bit more but was a much better experience. Hang in there, my friend. It's the worst part about having pets. That part never gets easier. If you have a nice picture, get it framed. She was there every day of my life until she passed. 2 years before her death, Calvin just wandered into our lives by just walking in our front door one day and never left. When our dog finally passed I was devastated, but I had Calvin to comfort me. Tonight is the first night in my entire life I have no one. The vet estimates that Calvin was 14. I hope hes happy with the life we gave him.
