I gave up when I had to find a Youtube video with an exact time stamp.

I didn't have the patience to do the chess rule. Partly because I didn't want to bother with using some website to figure it out, but also I realized that it was gonna make me rework a number of other rules.

I have to quit at Rule 18, I have no clue why it's not counting it correctly.

Rule 20 happened and I tried a couple more times but I just don't have the patience to keep figuring out countries and chess moves right now.

Rule 18 took me a LONG time, largely because every time I thought I found a solution it fucked with another rule (usually 9)

Getting past rule 24 seems damn well near impossible to me because you need to find a URL that doesn't contain the characters L, C, D or M because of the roman numeral rule AND you also have to start dealing with Paul for the first time. Really cute game up until then but yeah I bailed at that point!

Finally found a Youtube video of proper length after about half an hour of searching and finding an obscene amount of videos that were less than 3 seconds off. Then I just didn't have it in me to redo the periodic table AND Roman numeral rules.

I got to rule 15, but then could not get rule 5.

Paul died or something. I don't even know what I did.

Got to the chess notation and I don't know what's happening. I used the Chess Next Move site but when I input it, it just said "invalid notation".

You need to put a + if the move causes check. (Or # or ++ for checkmate)

Anyway I had no problem with Chess because I already knew how the notation worked and the move was fairly obvious. The atomic number one was obnoxious because I had to look up the atomic numbers for Vanadium and Iodine and such due to the roman numerals.

And then my password set on fire and part of it burnt up and then my phone started autocorrecting shit and I was done it was too annoying to continue.

Hint for doing rule 16 correctly:

Your notation MUST include captures and checks. For example, if the correct answer is to move your queen to e4, capturing a pawn and putting the king in check, then you need to write "Qxe4+", not "Qe4". x is for the capture, and + is check.

I think having to feed Paul every minute ruins the fun for me. It was fun though having to figure out what country some random place was in.

The worst part was interacting with that tiny google maps window

I can see Paul making the game not fun because as soon as he's introduced he demands your constant attention in addition to everything else going on and if you forget about him for literally a minute you lose. But at least he doesn't mess with any of the other clues (at least as far as I've gotten) and if you're playing in a browser it's as simple as hitting Ctrl+V every 30 seconds or so. So while I don't enjoy him being in the game, he doesn't ruin it for me. I was far more frustrated by the fire and the YouTube video.

The youtube video is most frustrating. Unless you get really lucky, it can be very difficult to find the right length of video.

What did other people get for the Google Earth image? I got what I thought was a non-descript snowy mountain range, and I was just lucky to guess it within like 10 tries (Nepal).

I tried a couple times, I remember I got Ghana and India, but I also got some that I just couldn't solve in the middle of nowhere so I started over

I got Germany which I was able to figure out pretty easily by walking around the city and finding something with writing on it.

I'm terrible at Geoguessr, but there's an easy way to cheese it if you need to.

Grab a list of every country, paste half of it in the box. If you clear the rule, that half is your new list, if you don't the other half is your new list. Repeat until you're down to one.

ok 33 killed me there wasn't much I could do unless I wanted to spend an hour rerolling something

wtf, i unlocked feeding Paul. I fed him immediately and he ate it and I set my stopwatch. 30 seconds later Paul died of hunger. I thought it was one feeding a minute??

Yeah but if you get something really long that gets more challenging.

The first time I got there, I was given 10:26. First I tried looking through a few channels that I am subbed to that often put out videos roughly 10 minutes in length. No dice. Then I searched "10 minute meditation/yoga/ASMR/similar things" in hopes that intros/outros/margin of error would equal out perfectly and it still took me almost half an hour, with a frustrating amount of close calls (within two seconds or so)
