If it's my kid then it would. I'm not letting my loved ones be denied necessary medical care because some bigots in power overestimate how much I'm willing to tolerate their bullshit, and the same thing goes for people who are complying with them.
Well, OK then.

You go into your local pharmacy and commit robbery with violence.

I'm sure that will make things so much better for your kid, as you try and support them from prison.

Then I guess the doctor gets to provide them without getting paid.

The doctors in the NHS are literally public employees. They're getting paid whether we like it or not.

And you keep bending over and accepting a broken system, being part of the problem.

'Bending over'? what an interesting choice of insult in this context.

You think that's a solution? Assaulting NHS staff? You know the people who do that are regarded as scum?

I mean, we both know you're not actually going to do any of the things you're posturing about. Those in the vanguard of revolutionary violence rarely announce their intentions on gaming messageboards.

Surprisingly enough.

Frankly, smashing things is usually a good way to get people to start paying attention and taking you seriously. Especially the more people you get to do it. When systemic injustice can't be curtailed by normal means, there leaves very little other options.

Right, so you are advocating the assault and robbery of healthcare workers if they don't pay for patients' puberty blockers out of their own pocket, are you?

Because that is what Liam Neeson over here reckons he is going to do.

I never said anything about assaulting innocent workers.

In the UK most won't have a choice unless their families are rich enough to seek treatment outside of the UK. The NHS is literally all they got.

Thats simply not true.

Private healthcare is available all over the UK. Its prohibitively expensive for many people sure, but theres no need to go abroad.

How are you getting the puberty blockers without paying, then Liam?

You going to keep robbing pharmacies until you find them?

What are you going to do to the doctors who tell you they are unable to prescribe them on the NHS? How are you going to get them to pay out of their own pocket for drugs?

There are private schemes you can join where the costs for puberty blockers run to around 100-150 per month.

Still expensive for a lot of people. How would it compare to the US? Is trans care for family members covered by medical insurance? (Assuming you are fortunate enough to have it).

There are trans people who still have to go through years long wait list there, even if theyve already been on HRT and have a prescription from their doctor before they moved. Its messed up.

As I said, Im not claiming its readily available to everybody, just that if you have the cash you dont need to go abroad.

There's only one clinic that's not operating properly and has massive staff turnover issues.

Unfortunately, trans care is just not seen as a priority spend for a free health service under financial pressure.
