I remember I had a lefty friend in grade school and whenever we had hotdogs for lunch he ask for a left-handed hotdog bun and the lunch lady would always say they didn't have them but she would be sure to get a pack next time, but she never did >_>

They're a gimmick item. They're not intended for left-handed people as such; it's more like "right handed" vs "left handed" in a chemistry sense (but, for clocks, not molecules).

If I was gonna have a physical clock at all I'd totally have one of those just to confuse people.

It's not about seeing things differently, everyone sees the same thing. Different brains just process the same information differently and a lot of Left handed people find the "normal" clocks harder to read.

This. Actual left handed people watches have normal "clockwise" face, but have the crown on the right instead of the left, so you can access it with your dominant right hand. They're not common though.
