How did Raiden/Jack get his arms back?

The large majority of his post MGS2 body is artificial. Besides his brain and some of his head the rest is gone and I think the large majority of him is artificial by MGS4.

So Big Boss tells Snake that Naomi told Big Boss that the new FOXDIE is killing the old FOXDIE, so the old one wont be an epidemic, and to keep living.

So if this is true, why did Naomi insist that Snake commit suicide at her post-death video message? Wtf Naomi?

Just read the first post, have you got to the point where Vamp stabs Raiden and holds him from behind, and they both groan as Raiden spews out hot white fluid?

That's not that weird. Raiden groaned because he got stabbed, Vamp stabbed because he's the second gayest MGS character.

There's a three hour video by a guy named Steak Bentley called Metal Gear Solid 4 was a Mistake, and it's the biggest fucking love letter to MGS4 I've ever seen.

There are rumors of MGS4 being ported later. However, I wouldn't count on it being a good port since the MGS1-3 PC ports coming out later this year seem like they are going to be bad ports.

I played it on my ROG Ally, a PC portable gaming console. I used RPCS3 emulator, and was able to run the entire game with no issues.

Vamp don't need nanomachines.

He is a vampire.

Still has way more charm and soul than MIDtel gear solid V, at least.

It was never a serious military shooter.
Kojima is a massive fan of Hollywood action movies and MGS is pretty much a videogame version of that combined with a touch of anime culture.

I enjoyed the game. Need to replay as its been years. Used to do no-summerly MGS series playthrough chronologically and at the end of MGS4 at the last part, I felt the fatigue Snake was feeling.

That isn't difficult to do though. What I had expected with Metal Gear Solid 5 was something akin to the first Assassins Creed game. You have a big city, but most of the story isn't set inside the city itself. It's set on the outskirts. The city stands as a hub later in the game. What we got was big open areas with practically no wildlife or people outside a set of stationed soldiers.

At some you just have to kind of accept that being completely ridiculous and implausible is the whole Metal Gear Solid aesthetic. It's the only way to explain how consistently incomprehensible it is. MGS as a series is basically an anime dressed up as a serious military/sci-fi epic

The plot of the franchise is all quite nuts, but I enjoy the heck out of it.

BTW: An AI being the "Big Bad" is nowhere near a new or original idea/plot in ANY sort of medium. Hello, Skynet? HAL? SHODAN? AM?

I love the series as a fanboy but MGSV was just trash because of this. Even MGSPO did a better job at infiltration and stealth and base building/recruiting soldiers than MGSV.

I'm the kind of person that likes the short demo games they release before the game more than the actual game. Ground Zeroes was far better than Phantom Pain, and Dead Rising 2: Case Zero was far better aesthetically than Dead Rising 2.

A game doesn't need to be massive, but it does need to have things to do. If 90 percent of the game is spent travelling from point A to point B, then we have an issue.

Oh never new about this! Word was PS3 was never going to be emulated because of its archtecture.
