The moderation on this site is worse than any other by far.

It's mostly because the admins/owners have no interest in maintaining its longevity, do individual mods that would normally be accountable are given free reign to so whatever according to their personal beliefs. This site is a lot like Neopets in that respect. Dying sites always have the worst moderation and management.

The unfortunate part is that the current moderation system is rapidly accelerating the death of this site. Site has way too few users to just suspend/ban people like they do. They cant afford to permanently ostracize people when the site entirely depends on veteran users because it doesnt get many new users.

I used to laugh at people who complained about the moderation until I experienced it myself, and I realized they were telling the truth all along and I was the ignorant one.

What they don't realize is this site's current user base is the size of a tiny subreddit. There's less than 700 people currently browsing the site. That's nothing. That's a subreddit on life support.

So when they mark people and get them suspended/banned, they are rapidly creating a situation wherein there is nobody left to discuss anything with. You can't afford to lose anybody with those numbers. The site will simply shut down.

I am able to post the exact same things that would get me suspended/banned by individual moderators (not because they actually break a rule, but because an individual moderator holds a specific belief) on Reddit, Discord, Youtube, Twitter, etc. Without issues.

I have no idea what topic or post you're referring to lol. I did not see that one that caused this user to be suspended.

But my guess, as someone who has been suspended/banned for absolutely nothing, is that there is a lot more nuance to this situation. I could be wrong. He could be totally worthy of a ban, but I do not give the benefit of the doubt to the moderation that patrols this board.

My guess is he would not agree that he defended sexual harassment. Feel free to provide details.

The bolded term is the heart of everything. You're saying it's "veiled". As in, "it's not actually saying this thing, but I can assume it's this thing under the guise of a "veil". And who gets to determine whether a user is being sincere or whether they are "thinly-veiling" something else?

That's right, an individual moderator, who is just making a guess based on no objective criteria. They base their guess on whatever their current mood or belief is.

Keep crying that this isn't real though as the userbase continues to rapidly decline. I'm sure you'll still be saying this even after the site shuts down. Just like the conservatives who deny climate change will continue to deny it long after we see the extreme and permanent damage realized.

Assessed, and it looks like I was right. The guy in the video is clearly also in the wrong just like the woman, there's no good actor there, but Michalecole didn't say anything in the topic that I can see (can't see deleted posts) worthy of moderation.

So basically, the suspended person said something that wasnt polite, got suspended, and then is currently being ridiculed, aka harassed.
