They did away with Ronald because he's a pedo clown. When he went away all the other mascots went with him. Now they've waited a few years, so they're trying to bring Grimace and some of the others back without Ronald. Because the younger generation has kind of lost interest in McDonalds and they're starting to realize that they're going to be in trouble once all the Boomers and Gen-X finally die off. So they want to double down on hooking the next generation of kids into eating there.
