I spent a lot of my childhood being on CE daily (probably age 10 - 18) and I definitely think it negatively shaped my views of people. I used to think that everyone IRL secretly hated me even if they were being nice to me because CE was so cynical. The incel mindset was really common on here even before that term was popularized. I still come here regularly out of habit but I usually just look at the first page of topics and leave. I don't spend nearly as much time here as I used to. --- We shall begin anew. ...
