Nah, Twitter is just in that phase where people say it's dead/dying while it is still in fact very much alive and active, and it has been in that phase for less than a year so far.
GameFAQs has been in that phase for over 15 years now.

It didn't die. They refused to pay Google for some cloud related services and the mandatory subscription thing is a cover for it. They'll strike some new deal and remove the limits in hopes of looking more pro-consumer and giving Elon Musk a better image.

they aren't forcing a mandatory sub, he is limiting the amount of tweets EVERYONE can READ. and you are right, no matter what Elon says it's because he's a dumb fuck who doesn't want to pay bills and thinks he's smart because of it.

Yeah I hope so. I only ever go to Twitter when it's linked here or to check up on Wario64's video game deals feed. I nearly made an account just so I could keep seeing Wario64, but I realized that's exactly what those fuckers want so I just found a subreddit that links most of the same deals. Fuck Twitter.
