Hell, did enough people get invested into it one way or another to even effect the sales or image of Bud Light one way or the other?

I havent seen anyone talk about it in a bit, so whats the sitch?

But Budlight was a sponser for WWE Money In the bank yesterday, and they were all over the broadcast promoting how much the love america, support our troops, etc lol

grifters toot in victory how bud lite lost money for it and to keep pressing their followers to keep up their tactics so other companies don't get any funny ideas about the woke.

All in all, an innocent person gets to no longer feel safe in public while the people that caused it are happily escalating their behavior and those who were once sympathetic moved on to another "oh that's awful" story.

Amhiser Bush has been on an apology tour since they sent that Tim Toker those beers. They are cowards. And the right is refusing to forgive them.

Budlight sales went down, and a few executives lost their jobs / went on a "vacation/leave", etc etc.

As far as I know, the sales is still down, which I suppose is why the beer was on sale a few bucks cheaper than the competitor at my local grocery store.

They lost like 25% of their market share very quickly and it isn't recovering.

Lmfao at people saying it just blew over. That's a massive decline in a few weeks.

People who hated on budlight for making custom cans for Dylan Mulvaney are trans hating bigots and clowns in general. Really sad people.

When the boycott first began, everyone in the news was writing it as if it was going to be a very brief thing that would be forgotten in a week or two.
I was in the same boat and assumed people would move on to a different issue.

Did not expect the change to become permanent (or seemingly so), although I suppose light beer is light beer and people found equally priced and comparably tasting flavored water.

my favorite part is the massive percentage of the outraged who moved on to a different brand by the same company, or to the similar brand that has been doing the same thing they are outraged about for 30+ years.

To be fair, the LGBT Community has also largely dumped Bud. They view Budweiser's immediate abandonment of Dylan as a craven stab in the back.

Yeah I know. The LGBTQ+ community saw Amhiser Bush's backpedaling and their apology tour reacted in turn. I figure their actions are likely more damaging then the rights as I am guessing most of them didn't just move to a different beer made by the same company.

People call it "gay beer" now, but afaict it's still selling well. At least where I am there haven't been any price cuts on it. I still drink it. One of the dumber boycotts.

NYT ran a story about how its now cheaper than water because no one will buy it.

Conservative snowflake boycott is dumb but so was the decision to do what they did and destroy their market. I hate that I live in a time where I am judged for the beer I drink. Its stupid all around.

Mine is that Anheuser-Busch has been actively funding anti-LGBTQ+ politicians and candidates before, after, and during their little rainbow capitalism stunt. And unlike Disney, nobody bothered to call them out on that bullshit.

It won't sell, depending on where you live at. However, it got so bad their latest promotion is giving away bud light using a rebate.

I think part of the reason this boycott was actually successful is that there are plenty of other terrible pisswater alternatives to Bud Light.

Boycotts are much more unlikely for products without a viable alternative.
