I know that sometimes it's worth spending extra for something high quality, but I'm also not too sure how often I'd be using it. I 'need' one now. I've been looking at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SSXQ7Q2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 but I'm wondering if it's maybe too cheap, if you get me. I'm not really experienced enough to know if I'd be wasting money or not. --- http://i.imgur.com/EUkIomS.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

I like Epson stuff, I use their printers and i'd think this would be fine for the price. Canon makes similar priced options that are good also. I work with this stuff at home sometimes, so i'm fairly familiar. --- "They speak of progress, in red, white and blue. It's the structure of the future as demise comes seething through." ... I should have mentioned it, but my plan was to digitize some manga that doesn't seem to exist in any digital form, even in the deepest recesses I could find. So most of it is B/W, but the covers and back covers are color. --- http://i.imgur.com/EUkIomS.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

Friends, can you put a dollar amount to "aren't super expensive" ???? Please and thank you. you might not realize, but what is expensive to one person, maybe not be expensive to the next. I find there is a issue with the ink heads. If you print only seldom, they dry up, and then are messed up. I think my HP has the ink heads right in the ink cartages, which adds like 10 bucks to the cost, but then they are FRESH when I replace them. Those all in one machines, seem to get the job done. I think I have a HP. Of course the HP guy was in best buy, and told me all the GREAT facts about it. jajajajaja. Good luck. --- Dr. Darrell of Michigan Riden with Biden, Vote Democrat, everyday, every year, every election. Help repair the USA. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I think it would do fine for that, you can use a real basic, free editing program like GIMP to improve the contract and saturation also. I do a lot of printing, laminating, menu making, and all kinds of local projects like stuff for the elementary school football team. In my opinion, when it comes to scanning, there isn't a real drastic difference in quality, and for what you need it for, I think this one will be fine. They make a very thin, inexpensive non-glossy photo paper, you can get like 50 sheets for ten bucks on Amazon, and it's perfect for printing stuff like this, if you ever decide you want some copies. --- "They speak of progress, in red, white and blue. I didn't think it would be something that I'd need to be super picky with, I'm just the type that gets a bit uncertain unless something is in my hands. --- http://i.imgur.com/EUkIomS.jpg ...
