I was there 3 times in last 11 months and nobody really cared that I was from California, but online its just a cesspool of hate. In my experience they seem to think every Californian is some ultra liberal LGBT boogeyman. They dont understand how big and varied California actually is. --- Useless "Captain" Mid ... a lot of Californians were moving to Texas for a while (idk if it's still the case), due to cost of living, job opportunities, and stuff like that. as a result, a lot of Texans saw Californians moving there as "changing their culture". --- Don't you agree, Zach? https://streamable.com/bmh5oq ... I always think about Vinick's speech about California in the West Wing when conservatives do the California boogeyman thing. Paraphrasing: "Anything this country has, California has it.
