Republicans desperately clinging to anything they can possibly blame gun violence on instead of doing anything to change how readily available guns are? I don't think that's ever not been a problem. Trans people just happen to be the GOP's current favourite punching bag, so combined with that one trans shooter a few months back (but ignoring the obvious association between attending a Christian private school in Tennessee while being trans and having serious mental health issues), they're the excuse of the month. --- This is my signature.
