BlackMageJawa 07/07/23 3:34:40 PM #8:	The thing is, because a lot of TNGS2 was recycled from unused Phase 2 scripts, Pulaski's attitude towards Data was because a lot of her material was written for Dr McCoy berating Spock. What the writers apparently didn't realise is that Spock's reliance on emotionless logic is by choice (a very important choice, but still something he could theoretically abandon), while Data actively wants to experience emotion, but literally can't, which makes her constant complaints come across less as "I respect you but your habits annoy me" and more "I despise the very core of your existence". --- The shattered stage is set and there's a role you must fulfil <cite>BlackMageJawa posted [p:974688880] in Watching S...
