Recently played games:

Sonic Frontiers
Excellent; one of the best Sonic games. If I had one complaint it'd be that the environments would be more diverse, but the story was interesting and emotional, the open-world design works excellently for a Sonic game, and the music is top-notch (as always with Sonic games)

AI: The Somnium Files -- Nirvana Initiative
The AI games are games I love a lot but also have trouble recommending to people because of how overtly horny they are out of nowhere, but at least that isn't so much the case in Mizuki's chapters thankfully. Great story, interesting mystery (though I have mixed feelings about its BIG plot twist)

Marvel's Midnight Suns
An excellent game with some really really cool characters choices as far as roster goes, which is particularly exciting given Marvel games tend to not do that. Almost lost me at the end because of an overly-frustrating final battle but overall great

Superliminal
Trippy, fun time. Very inspired by stuff like The Witness and Portal and the like; a good time but not one that might stick with me long

Pentiment
Another one with kind of a weak ending, but a very cool stylistic design and a compelling mystery

oh I also still have Lego DC Super Villains downloaded on my console but at this point I don't know if it'll every actually be played

I started playing Yakuza: Like a Dragon

in about 2.5 hours of game there's been about 30 minutes of gameplay and probably 25 of that was playing Virtua Fighter 3
