I would watch it as a kid and kind of liked it. I used to hate Quark for some reason. I've tried to watch episodes years ago and couldn't get into it. Started from the beginning and I'm loving it. I think Quark is great. On season 4 right now. I'm glad I missed out so I can enjoy it now. Was it popular when it aired? I watched Voyager more, but this is definitely better.

My favorite Trek. Even more then TNG.

Also like Lower Decks and Strange New Worlds.

Picard ranged from dumpster fire to solid depending on season.

Liked Voyager but saw it all as a kid so idk how it holds up for me.

Never seen much of the OG, Enterprise or Disco

I think being able to binge watch episodes does much more for it than TNG and VOY. Voyager gets significantly worse outside the syndicated schedule. I still think it's overrated for it's plotlines in contrast to its so-so dialogue and acting.
But, yeah, Quark is fabulous when you stop viewing him as a villain.

At least watch the OG movies. They are really good! The first isn't great, but seriously good stuff. Strange New Worlds is good. Really enjoying it.

DS9 was pretty mediocre and boring... until Sisko shaved his head.
That was like the turning point of the show.
The writings improved (even in episodes that didn't really focus on him) tremendously, stories became more engrossing, they introduced interesting new side storylines, characters became "real" instead of generic Trek guys doing Trek things, etc etc.

Oh, and Quark & Rom were great.

Ds9 is far and away the best trek, with themes that resonate even today. Above all, it's single setting gives it a continuity where consequences truly carry over from episode to episode, and even span multiple seasons.

Some of the best television imo.

I think that's what helped. Watching the episodes without a break. Quark is like a friend you want to hate, but you can't.

Disco is like an entirely different show from season to season. I wanted to like it, but really couldn't bring myself to once season 2 began.

Is Disco Discovery? If so I watched it all, but didn't enjoy it much. It had likeable characters, but it just felt random and forced.

Like seriously the next season they will probably travel to an alternate universe that was a long time ago far far away.

Yeah. I was on board for spores, the characters and especially a morally grey captain but I immediately lost interest when they revealed that Lorca was a mirror verse copy, not the original Lorca. I thought that the horrors of interstellar wars with the klingons making someone into not quite a paragon of Starfleets purported values was compelling, until they explained that he was from the mustache twiddling villan-verse.
