On one hand I don't generally condone implied threats of violence. On the other hand actors and writers are 100% justified to be absolutely losing their shit over what was said.

Which is bullshit, because intentionally setting out to make people homeless so you can force a shitty contract on them is absolutely violence.

Its very disturbing to me. Weve talked about disruptive forces on this business and all the challenges were facing, the recovery from COVID which is ongoing, its not completely back. This is the worst time in the world to add to that disruption, Iger said on CNBCs Squawk Box Thursday morning, via Variety.

Yes, but reverse that. The company is saying they have more than enough income from streaming and the like to force the actors' hand. They just have to wait until people are homeless and desperate while they laugh to the bank.
