I'm going with ancient Greece/Roman pantheon, followed by Norse

Christianity and Islam have boring lore except for Book of Revelations which is pretty metal

Scientology, somehow.
One thing I can say for Scientology is that it was written by an actual sci-fi author. Like, imagine if someone like GRRM or Brandon Sanderson drafted up a holy scripture for a new religion, it'd be an awesome read even if the religion itself is a soul-sucking cult.

I'm going with what many native cultures around the world believe. "Star people" (aliens) seeded human life here on earth (directed our evolution from earlier hominids with advanced gene editing technology. Or perhaps just tought ancient people how to build megalithic structures. Which we can't figure out how to build today)
We are all their decents, star children.
(It's basically the same as the ancient astronaut theory.)

A theory not only stupid, it's also incorrect and racist.

This. Hindu mythology is like DBZ turned up to 11 where you have like tens of millions dying in these epic battles while avatars of gods fight with world-destroying weapons as a matter of course.

See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mythological_objects_(Hindu_mythology)

When you think about ancient times, smart people who came up with religions and their rules really knew how to control the masses.

Norse mythology? Honorable death in battle equals eternal feast and women in Valhalla. Can't go wrong.

Islam? Dying in Allah's name grants you eternal life and virgins.

Greeks and Romans were at the mercy of gods, so that wasn't really good.

Of the major ones people know, I've wanted to explore ancient Egyptian beliefs and lore, just never gotten around to it, so just have a rather superficial understanding.

I actually own an encyclopedia about all the religions we've had and are as an anthology from A to Z, however clearly have no read through it lol.

One day.

The natives own history mentions these star people partially melting huge stones so they fit together without mortar. Or levitating 100 million ton stone blocks with sound and placing them with ease. Then there's shit like flying palaces in the Hindu epics. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vimana

There's too many native cultures all around the world who's oral traditions mention star people. Native Australian, Hawaiian, American, South American.
Then there's the ancient Egyptian gods who; come from the stars, one of them is blue, is credited with making/modifying humans, his name in Hiro Glyphics has a double helilix like DNA.
It sounds less like it's made up racist garbage, and more like looking at what is described in ancient traditions, not as all powerful "Gods" but a more technologically advanced alien species. Which, as an atheist, makes a lot more sense.

of the current, "main" religions, I'd agree with Hinduism.

I remember watching this Indian series on Netflix, and it was about a trial that took place with all of the deities and notable figures involved in some great war.

I thought it was cool.

Judaism also has some cool stuff, with warrior kings, people blessed by God, the creation myth, etc.

Well that's the point of this topic, isn't it?
In fact this "fantasy" unites all the others and explains almost all world religions as; different cultures explaining the same thing (aliens) in different ways because of their cultural differences.

Its mostly phased out of mainstream Ancient Aliens theories, but basically the concept started because a bunch of white Europeans couldnt fathom a lesser race of humans building some of the things they saw when colonizing their land, and so came up with a bunch of theories as to how it was actually somebody else.

Basically a bunch of white guys saw the pyramids, and went, I dont even think us, the mighty white people, could build that today! Couldnt have been black people. Had to be aliens.
