Bruce throughout the movie keeps trusting Selena for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

How was that by the way? I hadn't showered that day and I fight crime in a rubber suit. Really seals in the flavor.

While it's true that a certain level of disbelief is required for comic book movies, Nolan made the mistake of making his Batman movies 'too grounded'. Making said suspension of disbelief very difficult, if not impossible.

I prefer Rises over Dark Knight. Dark Knights ending didnt make any sense and retroactively ruined the overall movie.

One of the lamest lines of dialogue in cinematic history is in that movie:

"You came back to save your city!"

"No, I came back to stop you"

Movie is still a great spectacle and I greatly enjoy it, despite not being as good as the previous ones.

I love Anne Hathaway's Catwoman, even though I hate the idea to not give her claws and to have those high heel blade things represent them (I guess?)

It also wouldn't have hurt to give her a whip. They even could have made it high tech to match her cat-ear goggles.

I'm surprised that you didn't mention Talia's death scene, TC. I remember reading that Marion Cotillard was angry at Nolan for using that particular take because the performance was so god-awful.

Its a masterpiece compared to Spider-Man 3, X-Men 3 or Blade Trinity. Its a solid, but very flawed, upper-mid-tier superhero film.

For me, its kind of the Alien 3 of superhero films. All the raw ingredients for a great film were present in the movie, but they just weren't blended together right.

I think Heath's death just ruined whatever their original plans for the third film were, and they had to start over from square one after losing a member of the family.

Bane was the one thing they did very right. Not quite as excellent as Heath Ledgers Joker because no comic book movie performance is, but Hardys portrayal of Bane was so good, and the voice and his costume were so cool.

Its an odd duck of a movie for me. When it ended i walked out of the theater not sure what i was feeling about it.

Now that time has passed, there are flaws about it, and things i feel conflicted about, and yet..........it's so watchable and I can't turn it off. Anybody else feel this way?

The Dark Knight is also contrived when you ever go back and watch it again. There are multiple times where they just kinda let Joker get away with things when there were a lot of alternatives. There are also times when the police has to be dumb enough to allow for a lot of stuff to happen. Also makes no sense when half face just starts going around and killing even non-related people. It's not like he survived by a chance, Batman was the one who chose him, so his motive has no coherence. Basically it's like well he's just nuts, and we have to be expected to take that answer

The Wall Street hijacking where Bane makes Bruce broke. God, this one from the moment I watched it pissed me off. The SEC has closed down the stock exchange for far far less than what was in the movie. If someone in real life tried to do this, all trading would be frozen immediately. This would not be possible.

My favorite internet comment about this scene was that Bane wouldve had better chances of success by making the movie an Inception sequel and planting the idea in Bruces head.
