I wasnt aware whistleblower reports of misappropriated taxpayer funds and calling for more transparency from the govt and private contractors was a grift, unless of course those are things you support and lobby for.

I prefer to stick with the facts, evidence, and science and not some conspiracy theory nonsense about a shadow government that has secretly developed hyper advanced technology decades ago, which is somehow light years ahead of anything known or even close to being developed in the next few decades.

It's pointless (*to argue with the deniers*). None of them even understand what the hearing was for in the first place. Literally in probably the first 5min of the hearing they made sure to establish that they weren't going to be rolling out aliens and inviting them to the podium.

The purpose of the the hearing was to testify under oath to Congress so Congress can follow up and/or offer protections when investigating the claims. Any evidence or info that can't just be blurted out on national or even global television can/will be distributed to Congress in a SCIF. They literally mentioned it 100x in the hearing.

And yet people really thought they were going to pull out a body for the whole world to see and calling it a waste since they didn't. Interesting how it's all the deniers who've managed to not understand anything at all.

The skeptic narrative wholly depends on:
- all of the witnesses being liars/grifters while under oath for no reason other than shits and giggles.
- the entire US House, Senate, DOD, IG office, etc., etc. who are taking it seriously being comprised of morons who don't realize it's fake.
- all of the pilots and high-ranking officers and officials with decades of experience and knowledge simply not understanding that they only saw a balloon or drone.
- the government trying to distract the public from "what's REALLY going on"
- all of the global sightings just being fake.
- Random skeptic/deniers with no experience or credentials knowing "what's REALLY going on".

The UAP narrative is wholly dependent on:
- Congress investigating the claims and finding out they're really true.

If this is truly your stance, this hearing provided none of those things.

No facts, no evidence, no science. Just claims.

Noy saying you in particular is guilty of this, but pointing out a Congressional hearing under oath is not providing facts, or evidence or science. Yet some have dangerously convinced themselves it is.

All witnesses were questioned under oath; all are senior intelligence or military members
They have much more specifics that can only be shared behind closed doors with congress members (due to security clearances)
We have multiple-sensor kinematics, videography, and photography of many UAPs
Witness demurred when asked if there have been murders as part of cover-up
Witnesses described "No evidence of UAP" statement as inaccurate
Unable to defend against them whatsoever
They are common, and there is now standard pre-flight briefings when pilots are encountering UAPs (military)
Their capabilities exceed anything possible now or in the next ten years
There are active crash retrieval and reverse-engineering programs, and witnesses have given exact names, location, and photographic and sensor-based evidence to congress in closed sessions
Biological material has been retrieved
Humans have been injured in the process of engineering/ retrieval
The programs are paid for via misappropriated funds; private companies will overcharge the USG, with the excess going to these programs
Both humans and UAPs have harmed human witnesses
Witness could not describe in open setting besides describing what he and his wife personally saw as "exceptionally disturbing"
Witness demurred when asked if there has been formal contact between USG and UAPs
There are active retaliation efforts by senior leaders of intelligence and military community, including harsh reprisals; currently an open whistleblower reprisal investigation for one of witnesses
It's possible that UAPs are conducting reconnaissance, probing capabilities, and have an interest in our nuclear capabilities specifically
Private companies have retaliated against commercial pilots reporting by issuing C&Ds
Specifically do not call it extra-terrestrials, they're non-human intelligence to avoid speculating origin
When asked if other foreign powers have safety measures to mitigate risk of escalatory situation in the event of UAP malevolence, witnesses confirmed there is existing agreements recently declassified that had been appended to previous nuclear treaties
Capable of jamming radar that no other adversaries can

Any species that has the ability to cross the stars has zero interest in anything on earth other than resources. They also would be capable of avoiding crashes, and likely wouldn't even send actual beings here for any reconnaissance. Time and again, these UFO concepts always fall back to anticipating modern or slightly futuristic human behavior.

The UFO sightings in the 1950s were tests of US space travel equipment. The "grey aliens," if ever seen, were likely chimps. The later UFO sightings were related to developing stealth aircraft. I find it far more likely that any pilots experiencing unexpected things are encountering our own testing, and the military prefers that pilots think it's aliens than risk highly classified R&D leaking.

Also, our idea of what aliens look like changed right after the movie Close Encounters.

FWIW I saw an unexplained thing in space before. It was like something shooting out lights of different colors and then then moving back together. I now strongly suspect it was testing stealth tech in the early 90s, or something with a satellite. But at the time my mom and I wondered if it was aliens because I was 4 and she wasn't thinking about satellites or military tech. But shed seen close encounters and ET
