Kinda. Depends on the kind. My friend experienced them as a blank stare, unable to communicate, hands griping. She had a head injury after being thrown face forward from a horse. i think that is what is going on with McConnell. Certian medications can also cause them too

No, it looks more like aphasia. A petit mall seizure means you're not able to respond to stimuli, McConnell immediately turns when the other man grabs his arm. He's not able to produce language though. Could be a transient ischemic attack.
Anyway to me at least it looked like what happened to my friend, she didnt produce language either. Once it would subside she would do what McConnell did. I'll watch it again see if I notice anything. I saw enough of hers to tell.

Edit. Watched it twice. I think its a sign of dementia. The arm grab is what confirmed it. A seizure he wouldn't have noticed but barely. TIA? Doesn't look like it. I'd still want to get it checked out though
