Spencer practically fixed everything terrible done over the years with Spider-Man by the end of his run and then it was immediately destroyed the following month. The Emma Frost/Tony Stark thing is an obvious swerve considering his technology has been "stolen" and being used in the new Sentinels so that one doesn't really bother me. Ms. Marvel was the standard "oh they died" that seems to come out whenever there's an MCU film on the way. The only strange thing is it was done in Amazing Spider-Man, but I guess that's because Kamala didn't have a book at the moment. There's still some good stuff with Marvel right now. Anything by Jed MacKay is fantastic and Daredevil has been great although Zdarsky is almost done with it. Immortal X-Men and X-Men Red have both been pretty really good even if the Krakoa stuff started to flounder when Hickman left. My favorite characters keep getting dicked around by bad writing. The Chris Claremont stuff with Omega level retcon annoyed the hell out of me. Then the weird threescore romance they threw in with Scott, Logan, and Jean...gross. Especially when you know how creepy Wolverine was with Jean. Ew. On top of all that, I hate Jean. So her being together with Scott already annoys me when Emma and Scott is already the best pairing...like Felicia and Pete but that's beside the point. I just really don't like recent stuff from Marvel.
