update: Gepard/fMC/SW/Welt could not beat level 90 Kafka in SU w/ Preservation on auto-battle

but i didn't find the debuff cleanse blessing or get to 10 blessings to get the CRIT+ resonance thingy

I mean I've only farmed enough to get DECENT gear, so I'm not too surprised I'm mid. Apparently the best Relic I own is my Clara's Salsetto Orb.

good luck, I've only gotten a 3 gold relic drop once so far and it was from echo of war. seems rare

To me, the removal of blue drops is more important than the possibility of 3 gold.

Was about to say I wish there was a Preservation Lightcone with effect Res, before remberingbthere is: The fucking any small Herta Shop one.

Read the Fu Xuan Lightcone for the first time, and boy that might be the most cracked Signature Lightcone to attach to a character yet.

Thinking I need to hurry up and get Tingyun up since she doesn't require the same level of speed tuning as Bronya. Hopefully I'll manage to have swappable Gear for Bronya depending on the situation eventually, but right now it's frustrating when she keeps ending up 3 AV ahead of Selee or Yanqing in some fights and throwing everything off.

Neither of them is going anywhere near a Kafka team though, so not in a huge rush...but I guess that means Asta needs some investment too....

Bah, I'll just run Luocha and Silver Wolf with Kafka+Luka or Sampo as my go to defiant for now once the banner hits. I'll have a full patch of not pulling to worry about the grind in 1.3!

Even with a while patch break for 1.3 (outside of the Lynx pulls), I've already relegated myself to the idea that I'll be swiping for 1.4 to get both units.

My current plan is to get one 5* on the Kafka banner, and if it isn't Kafka, I'm bringing the guarantee forward for Topaz. If I win the 50/50, I should be able to drum up enough Jade for 2 more guarantees by then anyway.

It's 50 stagnant shadow mats to fully ascend one 4* to 70. 65 for 5*s. You're gonna need them eventually!

I wanna be able to use Silver Wolf all the time, and I've got a guarantee ready. I'm pretty sure I'll use it on Fu Xuan. I like her well enough, but it's all about Silver Wolf. Mono-quantum is nice and all, but SW + Fu Xuan as a core feels like it'll open up a ton more options for teams of them + 2 non-quantum-but-same-element units. (As does Lynx, to be fair, but I doubt she can solo sustain.)

Jingliu/Topaz/HuoHuo are all maybes, I wanna meet them more first. I haven't done Yanqing's quest so I haven't seen Jingliu outside of JY's trailer

I just looked up Huo Huo again having not looked too closely the first time and just realized her weapon is a fucking box cutter.

Is there not other stuff that you can do instead lol. I pretty much never run any the "do this" requests unless it's Calyx.

Most days I get 200 points for the Daily Mission, 200 for "Break 3 objects", and then the last 100 is a photo or synthesise and item.

Saturday call volume at work is so slow that I was actually able to build this thing. Was tedious to make but I'm very satisfied with it! Text is what I want, and they'll be marked based on the current satisfaction of what I have (if anything). Just started actually going what I have so far to start assigning the status colors. Figured I'd add all the characters including who I don't have just in case.

Man, it's really outdated, though. Doesn't even have Zhongli on it.

At least I can completely ignore Blade because a Wind damage unit is redundant with Dan Heng. Not likely to build more characters from scratch anytime soon, but I do lack Lightning attackers so Kafka is something.

With the exception of finally snatching up Sampo, there will be no more Wind for me until Black Swan.

Getting Bronya is a real "suffering from success" because I was midway through building Tingyun and now I'll probably just...not use her over Bronya 90% of the time. But she and Kafka were supposed to patch up my Lightning gap, now it'll just be Kafka. But hopefully she's good enough where I will stop having to rely on support Jing Yuans, lol.

My real issue is Ice now. Gepard is great sustain but is useless otherwise. I'm gonna have to build Pela for now, and idk if I want Jingliu yet.

If it helps both Tingyun and Bronya are terrible with Kafka lol. You want Asta for her Harmony, or Silver Wolf/Pela instead.

Oh no doubt that synergy is wild, so it's not like you shouldn't be building Bronya, though neither is going to be on a team with Kafka. Kafka seems really good but it's a pretty narrow team comp of effectiveness right now. Good thing is the way she works she'll be pretty immune to power creep, any new DOT character that comes out just makes her stronger.

I just plan to run whoever I like together and see if I can make it work. Its worked so far though definitely wont work for the absolute hardest stuff star wise. Should I raise my Equilibrium level to 2 now? Im early in the Xianzhou stuff, but absolutely slaughtering everything so far since my team is lv40

As long as you have a healer or shielder built (read: Natasha), EL increases are pretty free in terms of difficulty until you hit...idk, 3 or 4 is where it starts getting pretty grindy.

Oh you actually will need to increase your TB level to the mid 30s to catch up in the story anyways too. I don't think there's any need to go further than that at the moment.

You can definitely build both Bronya and Tingyun, they both bring something different to the table other than attack buffs. Tingyun in particular is top tier, not just for her buffs but because of her ult. Granting a huge amount of energy to an ally is something no other unit can do like she can.

You don't have to have perfect Synergy with your Team, you just gotta avoid anti-synergy. Stuff like Welt and Clara in the same team for example is just shooting yourself in the foot.

Even characters with anti synergy like Clara and Bronya can be on a team together with the right comp. Solo Sustain Unit, Clara, Bronya, Seele for example is good, as long as your playing Clara skill point neutral (or preferably positive depending on the fight) which isn't hard.

My silverwolf currently has my best overall gear. Welt might have better gear overall score wise, but i cant tell because his rope is not upgraded since im trying to change his set. The probelm is the orb he has is absolutely nuts. But I think he'd be over 200 score. Anyways current scores of other units with effective stats in parenthesis

Natasha - 143.8 (15) (several pieces not upgraded all the way)
March - 153.7 (13) (1 piece at +12)
Welt - 175.8 (15) (Basically missing an entire piece)
Bronya - 132.2 (8) (One piece at +9, she needs help)
Selee - 187.5 (14)
Pela - 132.2 (10) ( 3 pieces not fully upgraded, one of them is purple)
Yanging 141.9 (13) (1 piece at +9, 1 at +12)

Those body piece subs are tragic but damn that's a good set overall.

I spent all the others before I realized how valuable they were, but thankfully I didn't waste them too badly (various speed boots. Planars are obviously the way to go but yeah could have done worse).

i'm beginning to think that spreading investment across ~13 characters might have been a mistake, these relics are so much better than mine

I've also gone pretty wide and feel similarly jealous of good relics, but idk. The thing is it's all RNG. I did my 8 cavern runs this week for the battle pass, doing the shielder/lightning domain for Gepard and Kafka. Aside from maybe a glove/hat or two, it's pretty much all trash in terms of 5* relics. The consistency of just leveling people and filling out team options feels better to me.

Maybe if you have two really good team comps between 8 units already, but my pulls were kind of all over the place initially. Plus Kafka on the way mean I gotta level up extra supports too.
