A pizza topped with smaller pizzas each of which are topped with yet smaller pizzas and so ad infinitum.

Would you eat such a pizza or would the infinitesimal pizzas you know exist but cannot see freak you out too much?

Would you immediately consume all those calories and die from clogged arteries from infinite recursive fat from the cheese and pepperoni, or get instant diabetes from the infinite carbs in the dough?

These are the difficult questions we face.

No, your body is finite in its capacity to absorb calories (think about competitive eaters). You would pass infinity - x calories a little later. However, infinity calories introduced into the ecosystem, in any form, would eventually cause problems.

Would the calories really be infinite though? Like 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 ... + 1/(2^n) is an infinite series, but the value just gets closer and closer to 1.

This is my thought. If each pizza is topped with a pizza with half the area, then you're only eating two full pizzas.

I eat pizza already knowing there's millions of things I can't see on it and within it. I eat pizza knowing that there is more space there than there is pizza and still I consume pizza.

You would have a finite amount of dough but would need an infinite amount of sauce.
