I agreed to move into my brothers place for cheaper rent and help them out but his kids are fucking annoying.

they are always stomping around and having meltdowns and getting yelled at. I lock myself in my room and wear headphones when I can but its still too much. I cant move out because Id be screwing my brother over but my mental health is in the gutter.

If its having a negative effect on your health, your brother should understand.

i feel ya. I wanna move out because my roommates loud and messy (his gf did all the cleaning and kept him quiet apparently because they broke up and she moved out) but dont wanna break the stupid lease and I just like living alone blah blah blah
i gotta deal with it for about another year

I turn music on or go outside as much as I can

i live next door to that kind of noise. the past 10 or so years of my life are just missing

Just sounds like something you need to talk about. Raise the issue that the place is chaotic and its upsetting you. Let him come up with ideas on how to compromise. If he needs you as much as it sounds then hell be willing to at least try.

I lived with my 7yo nephews for a year almost a decade ago and that shit was so annoying. That experience honestly turned me off from having kids lol

Without meaning to sound judgemental, because I dont know their circumstances or yours, why do they live somewhere thats dependent on your financial support?

I suppose the question to ask is whether or not its your responsibility to make sure theyre okay, to the point of discomfort for yourself. And whether or not that discomfort has a point that exceeds the level of obligation.

Sounds like the first step is going to be to talk to your brother. If he doesn't know you're unhappy he can't do anything about it.
