Love the design, but I watched Phantom Menace on May the 4th (just three months ago) and I don't remember a single thing about him other than the way he looked and how he killed Qui-Gon Jinn.

He *used to* just be a cool design but Clone Wars did an excellent job of fleshing him out. If you havent seen it watch Clone Wars! Its okay to use a skip list!

He's got a super cool design- probably the best in the series, but that's really about it. Duel with Qui Gon was great but then he went out like a bagel sliced in half in the same film before he could become a real threat. I have always thought he was super overrated.

And yes I know he's been brought back, but I haven't watched or read any supplemental materials involving him so that won't affect my opinion.

I liked him much better in his original incarnation. He was great in The Phantom Menace, but even better in Shadow Hunter, which fleshed him out just the right amount without killing the mystique.

I really dont like him at all after his resurrection in The Clone Wars, but Im a solid yes overall because I dont even count those appearances.
