Wong currently has a limiter where, you either get to use your turn 5 (or turn 4 if you cheat him out with Zabu) to either amplify/copy him with Mystique, or to get his effect with an On Reveal card right away and lose your ability to double up later. With the change you propose, you can get maximum value from his on-reveal doubling without sacrificing your ability to Mystique him later. I think in the original form of Snap, that would have been way too powerful, but as it currently is with power creep and more ongoing counters baked into the game, I think it would be a semi-reasonable change to make. He also works as a really good counter to Killmonger. No one is gonna wanna throw out a Killmonger when you got Daken on the field. Moongirl could also work. 2 8 power would be real strong. Not that he'd be bad for a Destroy deck or anything. Daken turn 3, Deathlok/Killmonger/Carnage/Venom and Muramasa turn 4 for a quick 8 power. Prep with a Bucky or Nova and you're getting big Value ASAP. But I've been having a lot of success with him in my Discard deck. One combo that I really like is T3 Daken, T4 Moon Girl (if you have enough free hand space to duplicate the Muramusa blade), T5 MODOK.
