What's keeping you from downsizing and parting ways with the trash?

I like my trash

i definitely have hoarder tendencies, but i think i've managed to keep it to things that are at least somewhat reasonable to hoard.

I'm a packrat.

My mother was a hoarder with boxes and other items stacked up to the ceiling in every single room of her apartment. I like to hang onto things for either sentimental reasons or to help refresh my memory, but I'll never get to the extent of my mother's collecting.

Nah, I moved countries last year. That made me throw away a lot of unnecessary stuff.

heres a short list of stuff that does nothing but collect dust:

90% of my bathroom cabinet
my old hockey gear
my two totes of camping gear (but i wont be getting rid of it)
two shelves of books
the two shelves
an old couch
