With Pee Wee Herman as the main character. The initial trailers showed what looked like a Tim Burton's DMC.

Anyway here is part of my vision for this.

Pee Wee: Hoo! Yah! (slashes twice), launches enemy into air, "HEH HEH!" Slam Dunk! *helm breaker*

Also million stab

Pee Wee: *first slash* HEH! *second slash* HUH! (pause) *million stab* HEHHEHHEHHEHHEHHEHHEHHEHHEHHEHHEH *final stab* *Classic Pee Wee Chuckle*

The protagonist should have been DSP.

They should have made Donte canonically Spanish.

It's a good game marred by branding itself as DMC. Should've been an original IP.

It's the performance and energy it has, not the dialogue itself.

I like the part at the end where they charge at each other and both make different funny noises.

Right? Even when he does prop shredder with Osiris he yells all weird like if a car was able to yell "YEAH!!!!!!!!!!"

The game from the first trailer would have been way better than what we got.

For those of you who like it I totally understand why. Gameplay wise. If it was its own series I would just want a story more like the first trailer.

I thought it was a solid game with a killer soundtrack. Im definitely glad its a stand-alone title, tho.

Have you seen what Virgil's judgement cut looks like in this one?
He pulls the sword out and freezes for a sec. Like he has to use the sword as a pointer to tell the slash effect where to spawn. It's funny.

Rapid Slash is kind of funny too. He just moves in one direction at a steady speed and some slash effects appear. Doesn't say "dddiieeee" either.

Seriously though this was back when Obama was in his first term and I only played it once, I don't remember too much about it other than the gameplay was fun and it had some cool environments and music

It entertained me so it did its job as a game

Edit: Actually I guess it would have been start of second term, it really feels like it was earlier than that though. Either way 10+ years ago

I was being serious.
I want to hear someone profess their admiration of Donte and Vorgil.

Here, I'll start.
I like the part where Donte goes "YOU'RE DUMPED." in a quiet voice after beating up the big soda demon. Like he knows nobody's gonna hear it, he just really wants to say it. And everyone likes the Donte El Exterminador videos.

Unironically, I like how Donte and Vorgil have a real sibling chemistry going on and how Donte grows from a jackass to someone who genuinely cares about what's going on.

Also Mundus is a better character than the one in DMC1, lol.

Remember when they made Sparda some regular looking dude who the demons had chained up?
I feel like Donte's already surpassed Sparda in this universe.
