To be fair, there's the concealed weapon aspect to those items, right?
I wonder if this means you have to carry the butterfly knives so people can see the weapons on your person.

im not fighting anyone but i literally just saw a guy walking down the street with a baseball bat in his backpack. Not like he was going to practice either, it had duck tape and "FUCK YOU" or something written all over it. It was definitely an "I'm kicking your ass" kind of baseball bat.

which is fine, i get it, it's america, but sometimes you just want a knife on you and you don't own a gun.
