Remember that you voted them in so YOU are their boss and not the other way around.

Protesting is the only thing that has brought meaningful change in this country.

Every Democrat could vote twice, and florida would still go to the republicans due to the suppresion and gerrymandering and cheating of the republicans.

Point being is that no , voting is not enough in some states... and those states arent like that because democrats didnt vote, they are like that because republicans are dirty cheaters that are willing to do whatever it takes to win, including voter suppresion/intimidation\gerrymandering and etc.

Not to mention the obvious, but every time republicans get power, they use that to basically guarantee they will never lose power in that state regardless of the votes.

I mean jezus, the supreme court will end up giving the power of choosing their electors to allow republicans to just ignore the vote entirely, and you would still say, go vote! its the only way!

I am sorry to say, but if the republicans keep pushing, are we just supposed to bend over and say, lube please!

If voting doesn't work then you can deploy any other strategy you like after you vote.

Which is why the "don't vote" group is typically coming from gop concern trolls. If you don't want the gop to win then never forget that their number 1 strategy for winning is getting you to not vote.

It's a simplistic solution to a complex problem that doesn't solve anything, but at least it makes you feel like you're helping by saying it.

Biden's plan to "out-organize" voter suppression is naive, and honestly, kind of shitty, because it puts the onus of fixing an unfair system on the people most affected by it, namely, POC.

Well, White people should stop voting for Republicans in significant numbers. That's the simplest solution. They're the only demographic that votes Republican for in that much of a significant margin.

Many of the ones that do rarely vote don't actually know how laws are passed (as they same thing both sides things) as they give themselves gold stars for voting once in a while yet complain when nothing gets done or shit gets worse.

You can't vote every once in a while, or only for national and sometimes state elections then skip the next. Same to skipping local elections.

Playing on voter apathy is also a strategy the gop employs to win elections and take away peoples rights.

People need to vote. You have rights you can exercise to vote. If they deny you those rights, oh boy do you have a lawsuit. Just make you're exercising the right correctly.
otherwise, people need to vote. Even in Malcolm Xs day, he pointed out if every black person voted, black people would run the country. It's definitely not a new problem having people not vote.

Education. In Goverment, social ethics and media literacy. Teach people how to be nonpartisan and be free critical thinkers. Pay attention to all forms of government starting with local. Then go and vote.

I think we should understand why people are voting Republican in those states and then try to convince why Democrats would improve their life.

I don't think saying vote my way is enough. For example if it is lower taxes why people vote Republican maybe convince them why voting Dems would be better for them.
