It's low class. It shows a lack of vocabulary and thought.
Any arguments the lady and i have will not tolerate profanity anymore. It's just lazy.

I'm an old man at heart, but it makes me reliable and dependable. I can goof off really well, but only when it's appropriate.
Young people seem to be getting less mature over time, but IDK if that's part of growing up.

It fucking depends. You definitely shouldnt cuss in front of children, strangers, or at people who are working. But if youre just chilling with your friends its fine to use more casual language and theres no need to be fucking uptight. Curse words can emphasize concepts and show that youre fucking relaxed in the situation and not all formal and shit.

When I am speaking casually I drop f-bombs and other swears non-stop but when I'm in a professional setting or having a serious conversation with someone I don't swear at all.

My English teacher once went on a 10 minute tangent about how much he loved the word "Fuck" because of how versatile yet"punchy" it can be. I think he described it as "the most Usable word in the english language".

Personally I never gave a shit about swearing and I get a chuckle every time I see someone who gets huffy about it. You bet your ass I started saying "Flux" at school when I was like 8 once the teachers got mad at me for saying fuck, it was great seeing them have to just sit on it because Flux was acceptable language.

I dont mind it if its well timed for emphasis. If its lazily thrown out its not as cool.

I gave my kids free reign to swear since they could talk, and they just don't. They'll swear around me but no one else.

Yeah pretty much. If you don't gate it and make it seem like some cool secret thing only adults get to do, shockingly, most kids don't actually care to unless they're trying to get a rise out of someone. It's almost like they're actually pretty banal words or something.

That works for a lot of things when raising kids. If you try to hide X, the curiosity gets to them. If you let them experience X they realize it's not a big deal, or that there are really good reasons to not do X, so they don't let it go to their heads.

Fucking exactly. I've always believed that educating my children about things in the world is going to better prepare them for life than trying to hide shit in an attempt to "protect" them.

I play in a casual volleyball league and I feel like Im the only person who swears. My team seems to enjoy it, but I dont think Ive ever heard them swear.
