and somehow did it better while failing ultimately at being Black Mirror, which I am actually OK with since I always thought the show was overrated anyway and I prefer horror.

I cant remember which episodes were in it, besides Joan is Awful, which honestly felt more like a Portlandia skit than anything else. Still liked it though.
BM has so many different episodes. I watched Nosedive first, which is almost a thriller. Then I saw the pig one, political drama. Then the treadmill factory episode, which was more in line with what everyone imagines BM as. Theres also stuff like the Star Trek episode, which is goofy and creepy at the same time. The one with the guys getting texts telling them to do stuff because I think thats what I like about BM. You really dont know what youre gonna get. Creepy tech horror? Crime thriller? Political drama? Social warning about media? Scifi parody? Disney Channel original movie styled adventure about an AI copy of Miley Cyrus? Ive loved every season of black mirror. Havent seen an episode I didnt like, and I legitimately loved most of them. Fucking loved bandersnatch. Black mirror is one of my favorite shows. I hated every single episode of this new season. Didnt feel like black mirror. Was awful from start to finish. havent been this excited for a new season of a show in forever. Joan Is Awful is the only episode that really felt like Black Mirror to me. Or at least, a lot more than others.

Joan is Awful made me laugh, but I'm not sure if I was a fan of the others.

What about the Miley Cyrus one?I meant just with the new season lol. Like the second episode of season 6 didn't feel like Black Mirror to me at all and just felt like a standard murder mystery. Joan Is awful was mostly good: funny and interesting, but drove itself into a cul-de-sac before the end. 7/10
Loch Henry was a superb bit of folk horror. The dangers of murder porn and fetishization of old media are worthy topic for Black Mirror. 9/10 Beyond the Sea was intriguing in parts, but overstayed its welcome and became predictable. 6/10 Mazey Day was just rubbish. Very undercooked, horribly rushed, and pretty silly. 3/10 Demon 79 was a fun bit of lovingly recreated period horror, but not very Black Mirror. 7/10. --- You'll see motivational pictures about working hundred hour weeks/Well, it only applies to those who are operating at a really basic level ...
