I'm playing X4 now and It started off with me blasting ships and looting. Was planning on making a fleet to take over another sector, but then I made my first station.
Now all I've been doing is managing it for the past few hours and im planning on creating more trade ships and miners to spread out more factories in other friendly sectors instead. Even play the mobile Eve echoes game with 4 different mobile devices and my PC. Also spent 700 hours in Avorion. Took a whole lot yesterday to wrap my head around how it works in this game. Also I just realized my Silicone production is low, took a small hit recently but I'm managing to reap in profits finally after hours of setting this up. Homeworld 2 is easy af, but I love it. Its pretty much straight 3D space rts though. There are some great Star Wars mods for it.
love me some gal civ too, its a straight 4X like civilization but quite a bit more involved imo. Wish I had a machine that could run stellaris so I could try it out. I remember playing Eve two years after it came out and feeling I was way too far behind everyone because of the real-time skill training took, which is fucking laughable now. --- ........the ghost in the machine...
