Wild. Wasnt huge before( 219 and 61), but I wanted to lose a bit more.

Am 189 now. Did 75 straight days of OMAD intermittent fasting. Ran 175 miles, biked a few hundred, and climbed 2x a week.

is this what it feels like to be a professional boxer trying to cut weight? Because damn not easy.

Depends on how much more muscle I want to build still. Getting down to 180 or so but adding some more muscle. Going to probably focus on upper body strength.

but thanks! Wanna make sure I can maintain a steady weight. I lost 75 lbs in 2021, and have kept that off since. Finally got very into long distance running which helps a ton. I love cardio, and have never been too into lifting actual weights or anything like that

Is this reverse psychology? And if I ask, will you lie to me?

Congratulations, but be careful. Losing that much weight that fast can potentially be problematic.

As long as you're still meeting nutritional needs and everything, you should be fine. You just want to be careful, because cutting weight that fast without meeting nutritional needs can cause problems.

Either way, if you're happy, then I'm happy for you!

yeah definitely. Have been getting the right nutrients for sure. Have basically been forcing myself to eat more than I think I need. Because 1.5 hours of exercise a day with OMAD is a very very intense experience lol

You lost about 2.8 lbs per week, not that extreme from 220 lbs. Probably pretty close to a well planned, long cut of a boxer. Sticking to a diet is certainly not easy!

Now that you are getting lower in weight, I would think the lbs would be dropping slower. I use bodyfat % as a better indicator, if you got one of those InBody machines at your gym, and I try and lose 0.5% to 1% of BF per week on a cut. Especially if you are trying to balance muscle in there, I would focus on BF and not a goal weight.

Just curious how many calories and protein you are eating now?

I have a feeling this contributed more to the weight loss than the omad. Unless that OMAD meal was really lean on calories.

But congrats sticking to a plan and completing it for weight loss is something a lot of people can't do unless they see results in less than a week. Glad it worked out for you.

hardly was tracking calories and def havent been tracking protein. Probably have had 1200-1500 calories a day. Maybe less some days. Would have neat most dinners, but not usually giant portions or anything. Sometimes would have a protein bar after a run that had 12g protein lol

thanks! Definitely has been a combo of both. I was net negative on calories most days I believe. Or close to it.
