"Medical School", looks like they copied a bunch of assets over from Two Point Hospital.

But like all TPH/TPC DLC this comes with fresh achievements and again breaks my 100% so time to try to fix that...

I don't know what THAT means!

Played a couple hours last night, it is actually a refreshing change of pace from the previous two DLC and the base game.

Instead of running regular classes and lectures, you're basically running a hospital with students. So it's like Two Point Hospital lmao. The mechanics are a bit weird though. I have a Ward with like 50 beds and there's still a huge queue and I'm only on year 3.

I need to pick this up. Just finished the Space Academy DLC on Wednesday, funnily enough.

It's such a great game.

The haunted campus DLC felt a little like a step back from the space academy one. More nuisances but the class mechanics were pretty bland and the final level just drags on. I think I actually used a space academy class (the cheese slug thing) to generate money for it tho

I did that one before the space one, haha. It was okay, but it being one big level rather than three levels like Space Academy made me feel kinda like it outstayed its welcome a wee bit. I enjoyed it, but I felt ready to move on when there were still several plots to go.

I do absolutely love that it introduced legit boss fights into this sort of game, though, haha.

I am loving TPC but I'm stuck on the Magic/Hogwarts school. I've taken out a loan but I have no money after a few rooms, everyone's complaining and students are stressed. I might have to start this one again and sell some of the crap that was already set up.

A tip I have for that one is that I found the dormitories they give you at the start to be a bit shit. You get more rent money if the dorm has higher prestige, but the tiny size of the pre-existing ones makes them tricky to level up. You may find that you're better off editing and rearranging that first building to get rid of the small crappy dorms and building one big dorm, then pimping it out with items that raise its level. You'll get more monthly income from rent, and if you've got items in there that increase happiness and learning then you'll get more from your XP bonuses as well.

Thanks, I'll give that a go. Is it worth reducing the size of the library too? It seems a bit big at the moment considering the amount of students and the cash situation.

I left the library as-is, but it's up to you.

That one also caused me some issues. I found that taking it slow and not rushing to expand and grow all your classes was a good strategy.

It is also the level where I discovered you can build your own campus buildings (and expand existing ones) which was not a feature in TPH. This means you don't need to spend money on new land plots necessarily, just need to expand existing buildings, making sure to still leave easy outside access (placing things like food courts and club activities to encourage people to visit the outdoors) to maintain good mental health.

Room prestige and attractiveness throughout the whole campus is also very important, it makes everyone happier and better at what they're doing.

Be mindful of your staff numbers and salaries. It is easy to over-hire Assistants for instance. I've found it useful to crosstrain them in pastoral care and medical care, and make sure none of them are working at Club Recruitment posts since those work automatically without anyone staffing them. I also never bothered with hiring additional teachers and private tutoring except when an objective asked for getting a certain number of A or A+ grades.
