Some of you may remember some time ago i made a thread here about my Dutch girlfriend "Joanne" who was long distance, and had Smit Megenis Syndrome. Because of how rare it is i wanted to spread awareness about it. Sadly, she passed away on good friday last april, and to work through my grief, and honor her memory I took everything we did in our 3 years together, and made a video documenting our love story.
Here is my tribute to the the first woman i ever loved, my final birthday present to her. I share this story to inspire those who may feel unworthy of love - never give up hope because my love never did, and despite covid, distance, language barriers, and disability dreams come true, and we had a true romance - one for the ages! Learn that love can come from the most unexpected place if you open your minds, and expand your horizons.

This was a very touching, sweet story. I'm sorry for your loss but I'm happy you were able to connect with someone and find love. Video games can get a bad rap but stories like these can show how they can bring people together.

Just watched the whole thing, thank you for sharing your story. It was a really touching tribute to your guys relationship, and I can tell how much you loved each other. It sounds like she had a very loving family and it was nice to see how welcoming they were towards you too. I also appreciated your message about finding love, as someone with a disability myself.

For sure! Life is crazy...i was just fishing, and telling bad jokes on an island in the game, and it took me to the other side of the world to hug my dream girl.

An hour is alot to ask, but i must have done something amazing if i kept people engaged. I'm so grateful you watched, and was touched by it too. :)

You guys, and everyone have made me so happy i opened up like this. I could cry. I wasn't a man who could have done something like this 3 years ago - It's all thanks to my goddess.

Still so amazed at the love i'm getting from it. After putting your heart and soul into something for 4 months...That's....I can't put it into words how much this all means.

Just i can't thank everyone enough.

Everything is still so positive across the board...Rarely see that on the net. All those amvs i did really paid off giving me these skills. Since i had to look at myself in such a state for months to put it together i am no longer camera shy, so win?
