Mobilezoid 08/23/23 4:18:39 PM #7:	Kiri Wild Side Ready Steady Go disappointed me. The BanG Dream mobile game has a cover of RSG that I've probably heard hundreds of times. This was my first time hearing the original, and it simply did not match up to the energy of that cover, imo. I also liked the song in Kiri a lot more. Second match was another easy vote. Wild Side is unique and creative in addition to being genuinely good. I'm also not a fan of using real life pictures in anime, which is like 90% of that other ED. Match 2 is the match of great songs with visual styles I don't care at all for. As for Ready Steady Go, it's, uh, a classic, by which I mean that it comes off as painfully generic. The second match is quite close, I like the style of both of these OPs, more neutral on the songs. Of course I have to give it to Wild Side as I'm a sucker for what they did there and so cute, although it's funny both songs end up having stop motion incorporated in. Wild Side In the first match I think the Ergo Proxy OP is just like as a package thematically better, but the actual track for Ready Steady Go just erases that advantage. As for the second one, it's pretty close. But I think Wild Side is probably a top 100 OP of all time and it's hard to compete with that. Kiri is my favorite OP for my favorite anime of all time, so that's kinda hard to beat. It's also in my top 10 songs in general, it does everything right for me.
